4 - 6 Years Curriculum
Nursery - Kindergarten
Our 4-6 years Curriculum aligned to Nurturing Early Learners (NEL), Kindergarten Curriculum Framework (KCF), and PRAISE.
We adopt a Thematic approach to teaching and learning where the six learning areas are integrated based on a common theme taught in English and Chinese. Children will acquire the Key knowledge, skills, and dispositions designed to be progressive; thus, this gives continuity in the syllabus and Curriculum. With reference to the Progressive Key knowledge and skills, teachers can utilize it to plan integrated activities.
Nursery 2
Children will embark on the Jolly phonics programme to develop their language and literacy skills, laying the foundation for other learning areas. The programme provides an atmosphere for each child to develop their academic, social, and emotional skills in a safe, loving, positive, and stimulating environment.
Kindergarten 1
Children will prepare for Primary School education through activities that nurture and challenge young minds. Through this program, children will be academically progressing and cultivate good habits and appropriate social and emotional skills.
Kindergarten 2
Children will be preparing for Primary One transition, and our programme will prepare them to face the real world. We aim to ensure that children graduating from Bright Kids are ready academically, physically and with the basic life skills derived from our Bright Values.
